1. Marines who are serving or have served honorably* in the United States Marine Corps "ON ACTIVE DUTY," for not less than ninety (90) days and earned the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor or have served or is currently serving in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and have earned no less than ninety (90) Reserve Retirement Credit Points.
2. U.S. Navy Personnel
(i) who are serving or have served honorably* in the United States Navy and who have trained with Marine FMF units in excess of ninety (90) days and earned the Marine Corps device (clasp) worn on the Service Ribbon, (i.e.: Southwest Asia Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, etc.) or;
(ii) earned the Fleet Marine Force Enlisted Warfare Specialist Device (FMFEWS) (1 Oct 2006 to present) or the Fleet Marine Force Officer (FMFQO) Insignia (1 Jan 2006 to present) which must be noted on the DD214 form. An Award of the Fleet Marine Force Ribbon (FMF Ribbon) (1Sept 1984-30 Sept 2006), the FMFEWS or FMFQO may serve as prima facie evidence of eligibility.
3. “Served Honorably” is determined by the last DD Form 214 or certificate of discharge that the applicant received.
4. A General Discharge under Honorable Conditions is acceptable.
5. Persons will be required to provide proof prior to acceptance of application. Original Documents are examined and returned immediately to the person. Typically, the night you attend a meeting and are sworn into the Detachment.
6. Annual fee is $35.00 for one (1) year’s membership.

1. Individuals not qualified for regular membership in the Marine Corps League who espouse the principles and purposes of the Marine Corps League as contained in its Congressional Charter may upon application to the Corporal Pete Arnold Detachment be accepted for associate membership in the Marine Corps League.
2. Associate members will pay dues in the same amount as prescribed for Regular members. An associate member shall be entitled to the rights, privileges, and benefits of a regular member, however, such member shall not vote on a membership application, an election of officers, or hold an elective office.
3. Individuals must have reached the statutory minimum age for enlistment into the Armed Forces of the United States;
4. Individuals may join who have never served in a branch of the Armed Forces of the United States;
5. Individuals who are serving or have served honorably in other branches of the Armed Forces of the United States;
6. Associate Members may vote on internal Detachment affairs provided such vote does not affect a policy of the Marine Corps League.
7. Annual fee is $35.00 for one (1) year’s membership. Life Memberships are available.

2. Dual Membership means you belong to more than one Detachment. Dual in this case could mean 2, 3, 4 or more Detachment's.
3. You must pay your Annual Fee or Life Membership Fee to each Detachment that you belong to.
4. You will be required to qualify the same any Regular or Associate Member as described above.

$600.00 - 51 years to 64 years
$800.00 - 36 years to 50 years

You must be a member IN GOOD STANDING before you can pay your Life Membership Fee.
You MUST pay your Life Fee BEFORE your annual dues expire. Our Detachment Paymaster needs time to process your paperwork and submit to the Department of Maryland Paymaster. National Headquarters needs time to process your paperwork prior to 31 August. Pay your life fee early to avoid any issues.
